Security cameras showed the first images of the earthquake in Chile 2/27/2010. Hawaii is under evacuation due to the Tsunami threat, believed to reach Hawaii approximately
11:05 a.m. Hilo, 11:20 a.m. Maui, 11:35 a.m. Oahu, 11:50 a.m. Kauai, 9-12 ft. surge estimates.
All state parks closed. Hilo airport closed at 6 a.m. All vessels are asked to evacuate state harbors. Kamehameha Ho’olaule’a will proceed. All ILH events postponed. OIA events will not proceed. City bus service is running with additional busses available.
Closed: UH Manoa, Hilo, West Oahu, KCC, HCC, LCC, Academy of The Pacific campuses closed. Ala Moana Center, Ward Centers, Windward Mall, Aloha Tower Market Place, Royal Hawaiian Center, Polynesian Cultural Center, Wet N Wild Hawaii, Unconferenz 2010 postponed. Costco Hawaii Kai and Iwilei are closed. Hawaii Photo Rental is closed.

Earthquake in Chile is felt in several countries of the South America.
The tremor reached strongly Argentina. In less scale, the shock also was felt in Peru, in Bolivia, in Paraguay and in Brazil.

Not saying I disagree with you but:
a) the idea that it is just a climate change (which have occured multiple times in the worlds history) is also a valid one.
b) we have seen no absolute fact that makes global warming an undeniable fact either.
c) Trying to back up your statement with saying something similar to “I saw it in a movie” does not help you.
Now, I am not saying that global warming is a lie, I just wanted to point this out as many people take GW for granted. Which it isnt.

i now that it is not solid but have you ever heard of the gulf stream? a convectional current under the water, it has been affected by climate change and this convectional current if disurpted can cause cities to sink and also drift upwards. so the countries have been very slowly moving up north which has caused more plate boundary movement… do u see wat i mean. for instance look at the supercontinent pangea which split apart and formed the continents we have today. this caused that movement

no im not saying that didnt u read wat i sed before. climate change is not just caused by CO2 thats a load of bullshit. it is natural event which causes a change in climate which happens all the time. an becuase of this shift in climate the convectional currents under the sea have been disrupted and caused many countries to drift very slowly upwards which has caused more movement with the plate boundaries

That doesnt make any sense.. tectonic plates move as a natural fenomena… it is just the way it is…. those plates are sitting over the magma… it is not solid… other wise we would be here as we are and probably life would not exist on this planet for the massive gravity that would be generated for a solid core.. see what I mean? climate os obout the biosphere, nothing to be underneath it.. human beings just have done some tiny holes not longer than 10 miles (think is less than that). relax

wat i mean is that because the climate is changing other places are having more extreme natural disasters like certain places that didnt usually get natural disasters are getting them now because of this global shift. climate change doesnt just refer to the weather it also refers to the global positioning of countries so it is this that causes more movement with tectonic plates and therefore more earthquakes. i currently do a- level geography and i am studyin plate tectonics. so no im not jokin
