YOKOHAMA, JAPAN (03/11/2010) — Sony’s prototype compact camera with an interchangeable lens, the unreleased Alpha-series model that was first shown last month at California’s PMA show, was presented in Japan on Thursday but the company still isn’t disclosing much about the device. The camera is aimed at people who want a little more creativity than a fixed-lens compact camera allows but who don’t want to carry a larger and bulkier digital SLR camera.
